26.09.2010-Chocolate Week, the nation’s favourite chocolate themed week, is back! From 11th -17th October, Chocolate Week celebrates the UK’s exceptional chocolatiers, chefs, retailers, hoteliers, farmers and many more talented individuals that unite in an indulgent week of chocolate-filled festivities.

Throughout the week there will be a whole host of opportunities to taste, discover and learn about every aspect of chocolate so please do pop in, say hello and meet Chocolatier Marc Demarquette.

Saturday 9th October – Demarquette Chocolate & Tregothnan Tea Gastro Experience
Cornwall, Smugglers
Join the Demarquette and Tregothnan team for an indulgent Tea & Chocolate gastro evening at Smugglers, Cornwall. Enjoy a tasting masterclass and chocolate-making demonstration followed by a three course seasonal menu with wine, prepared and introduced by Smuggler’s head chef.

Thursday, 14th October – Meet Chocolatier Marc Demarquette at Fortnum & Mason
Since 2007, Master Chocolatier Marc Demarquette has been commissioned as Fortnum & Mason’s house chocolatier and the only permanently named and featured chocolatier within the store. He has created the 'Fortnum & Mason Bespoke Selection' of chocolates using a variety of the famous store's exclusive ingredients with exciting new flavours regularly being created and introduced. Join Marc in the chocolate department from 13:30 to 17:00 to sample some chocolates and find out more about his celebrated chocolates.

• On each day of the week we'll be sampling one of the seven flavours in our new 'The Orient Collection' which was launched on September 14th as part of our 4th Anniversary celebrations. Tastings & promotions will take place in our Chelsea shop throughout chocolate week.
